Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is about friends and family but most importantly food! I’m kidding… mostly. But truly Thanksgiving is a celebration of love, warmth, and togetherness. I love seeing all of my family and friends together sharing gratitude of their favorite parts of the year with a full belly and a warm heart.

For the past four years I have held our friend group’s thanksgiving. What started as an event of not even 15 people slowly has grown to over 40 people gathered in my kitchen, dining room, and spilling out into both living rooms. Friendsgiving has turned into more than just a meal I cook once a year; it’s a celebration of the people who feel like home. Cooking for my friends on this special day is my way of showing how much I love and appreciate them. Every dish, from the slow-roasted mains to the carefully seasoned sides, is made with warmth and intention, bringing us all together around the table. There’s something magical about the way food can connect us, turning laughter into an ingredient and memories into the sweetest seasoning. Seeing my friends enjoy each bite, savoring the flavors and the love that went into every dish, reminds me why I cherish both cooking and the people who make life so full.
